Shisui susanoo

Shisui susanoo is a fearsome deity in japanese mythology.

Susanoo (スサノオ; historical orthography: スサノヲ, 'Susanowo') is a kami in Japanese mythology. The younger brother of Amaterasu, goddess of the sun and mythical ancestress of the Japanese imperial line, he is a multifaceted deity with contradictory characteristics (both good and bad), being portrayed in various stories either as a wild, impetuous god associated with the sea and storms, as a heroic figure who killed a monstrous serpent, or as a local deity linked with the harvest and agriculture. Syncretic beliefs that arose after the introduction of Buddhism to Japan also saw Susanoo becoming conflated with deities of pestilence and disease.

Susanoo, in full Susanoo no Mikoto, also spelled Susanowo, (Japanese: Impetuous Male), in Japanese mythology, the storm god, younger brother of the sun goddessAmaterasu. He was born as his father Izanagi washed his nose. Susanoo, having been granted charge of the sea plain, was driven out of heaven because of his outrageous behaviour at his sister’s court.

Susanoo-no-Mikoto is the Japanese god of the sea and storms. A powerful and boisterous guardian kami , Susanoo’s moods are often as temperamental as his actions are chaotic. His fight with the dragon Orochi led to the creation of the sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, one part of Japan’s sacred regalia.

Susanoo, sometimes written "Susano'o", "Susano-o" or "Susan'o" is, in Japanese Shintoism, the god of storm and ocean. He is also nicknamed "The Impetuous". Because under a false appearance of tranquility or innocence hides in reality a rebellious and turbulent spirit. The ocean, his domain, reflects well this tumultuous character.

Shisui susanoo is one of the most powerful deities in japanese mythology.

Susanoo is a tumultuous deity at heart, and his chaotic moods and disheveled appearance are direct reflections of his status as the god of storms. The seas surrounding South Japan—where many of his shrines are located—reflect these attributes. Like many storm, wind, and sea kami who serve under him, Susanoo can be both benevolent and malevolent. Despite this seeming moral ambivalence, he remains one of Japanese mythology’s most celebrated heroes. In what is now his most famous feat, he fought and slew the fearsome eight-headed dragon, Yamata-no-Orochi, killing it with his famed ten-span sword, a Totsuka-no-Tsurugi .

Shisui susanoo is an animated character in japanese mythology.

Susanoo's designs are based on Tengu (天狗), well known yokai that are associated with the ascetic practice of shugendō. In their final forms, the Susanoo are garbed in the attire of shugendō practioners, known as yamabushi, and wear hoods that resemble tengu masks, with Itachi's and Madara's appearing as long-nosed Hanataka Tengu and Sasuke's as a crow-billed Karasu Tengu. In Japanese myth, Susanoo produced the fiend Amanozako who is said to have been the progenitor of the Tengu.

This is a real image, albeit not from the manga nor anime series. Shisui's Susanoo makes its appearance in the video game Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. In fact, Shisui's Susanoo was designed by Masashi Kishimoto himself. So from that perspective, it is canon.

Susanoo is one of the three noble divine children of the Mihashira-no-Uzunomiko myth. Back from Yomi (Japanese hell in Shinto mythology), Izanagi gave birth to Amaterasu by rinsing her right eye. Then to Tsukiyomi by rinsing her left eye and to susanoo by wiping her nose. The Japanese myth tells us that Izanagi gave parts of her domain to her children. Amaterasu inherited the day sky, Tsukiyomi the night sky and Susanoo received the ocean.
